The analysis was performed of case histories of 138 patients with hip-spine syndrome who underwent hip arthroplasty in the clinic of orthopedics and traumatology for adults at the State Institution “Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedics of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”. It was found that patients with sacroiliac joint dysfunction make a fairly large proportion among those with hip-spine syndrome (14.5 %). The dominant factors in patients with sacroiliac joint dysfunction are leg length discrepancies and hyperlordosis (83.3 %), which suggests a pathogenetic relationship between the variant of vertical posture (hyperlordosis) and the development of sacroiliac joint dysfunction. The high efficacy of therapeutic blockades in patients with sacroiliac joint dysfunction on the background of hip-spine syndrome has been proven. A significant reduction in the pain effect was achieved in 60 % of patients with primary and in 100 % — with repeated treatment blockades. The signs obtained as a result of the study can be included in the algorithms for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with hip-spine syndrome.References
