Our Experience in Traumatic Disease Concept Application for the Treatment of Multiple-Injured Patient

The practical application of the concept of traumatic disease (TD) in multiple-injured patients enabled to prioritize treatment methods, led to the introduction of a number of new therapeutic principles, to reduce mortality rate in the acute and early periods of TD associated with head injury and the injuries of musculoskeletal system to 12.3 %; concomitant chest and musculoskeletal injury — 4.8 %; concomitant abdominal and musculoskeletal injury — 5.3 %; concomitant injury of two or more cavities and musculoskeletal system — 15.5 %.
