Features of Osteosynthesis of Femoral Neck FractureS AT A Young AGE

Abstract


An analysis of the use of internal fixation for fractures of the femoral neck in the period from 2006 to 2012 is presented for 46 patients aged 20 to 59 years (mean age 43.4 ± 2.3 years). There had been used devices for dynamic compression between the fragments. The choice of device and parameters of osteosynthesis were identified on the basis of simulation of stress-strain state of the proximal femur. Treatment outcomes had been studied in the period from 1 to 6 years in 39 patients by Harris Hip Score: excellent — 92.4 ± 1.1 — 26 (66.6 %), good — 87.5 ± 3.2 — 9 (23.1 %), satisfactory — 76.31 ± 3.60 — 4 (10.3 %).
