Role of Early Osteosynthesis in Prevention and Treatment of Fat Embolism Syndrome
The paper analyzes the clinical course of fat embolism syndrome (FES) in patients with injuries of the musculoskeletal system, treated with different methods. The necessity of an early stabilization of fractures and the priority method of transosseous osteosynthesis in patients at risk for FES were proved.
